SQL Programmer Job Description

Term: 3 to 4 months
Site: 3660 Highway 411 NE, White, GA 30184
Pay: $5,000.00 per month (gross)
Japanese Language Proficiency Required

This position will provide new development support to internal analysts/programmers for preparing SQL Server upgrade from 2000 to 2005 (or 2008).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Check all SQL statement in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) application source code and validate them against SQL Server 2005 Database Engine.
• Modify and Test SQL statement if necessary.
• Comment source code, update change log, and make necessary archive of the source code.

All of the work will be done in Toyo lab environment from 8 am to 5 pm. This is a hands-on job which needs attention to details and diligence.

Qualifications
• Strong understanding of SQL
• Some programming experience with VB.NET in ASP.NET environment
• Some programming experience with VC++ console application
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Experience with SQL Server 2005 and 2000
• Experience in using SQL Server tools (e.g. Profiler, SQL Server Management Studio, etc.)
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
