The Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC), Embassy of Japan, is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual for the position of Cultural Affairs Coordinator. Among other responsibilities, this position will be responsible for coordinating cultural events held at JICC. Please see below for a complete listing of responsibilities.

The Embassy offers group health insurance coverage, 15 days of paid vacation per year, a number of paid U.S./Japanese holidays, and sick leave. Working hours are from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with weeknight and/or weekend events several times a month (paid overtime). Salary is commensurate with experience.

This position will provide new development support to internal analysts/programmers for preparing SQL Server upgrade from 2000 to 2005 (or 2008).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Check all SQL statement in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) application source code and validate them against SQL Server 2005 Database Engine.
• Modify and Test SQL statement if necessary.
• Comment source code, update change log, and make necessary archive of the source code.

All of the work will be done in Toyo lab environment from 8 am to 5 pm. This is a hands-on job which needs attention to details and diligence.

Purpose of position:
Provide day-to-day support to an assigned group of clients, either as part of an account team or individually. Responsible for implementation of each client’s annual strategic plan.

Japanese Administrative Analyst

Corporate Process Engineering Analyst
Location - Warner Robins, GA

Base salary to $38k plus bonus and limited relocation expense if needed

--Will be responsible for processing machinery requests, parts orders, inventory and engineering technical manuals from English Language to Japanese (FLUENT interpreter).

--Reports directly to the VP of Process Engineering so any technical engineering experience would be a plus but not required.

--Will communicate with Japan corporate office and USA subsidiary on a daily basis as to engineering requirement, specifications, presentations and process engineering requests.

--MUST be FLUENT in Japanese (spoken and written)and the same in English language skills!!

--May also consider entry level college grad with above skills and great POWERPOINT experience.
