Job Summary:
REI is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor at our facility in Lawrenceville. The Production Supervisor will support our Toner operations by supervising the daily activities of Toner Filling production operators and maintaining daily production records and progress reports. Responsibilities:

Participate in the investigation of production problems and/or product quality issues, collaborating with Maintenance, Engineering and QC. Initiate corrective action, requests repairs or implements countermeasures and tracks results.

Supervise the work performance of hourly employees which includes giving daily work direction, training and coaching for development, conducting performance appraisals, monitoring attendance and administering disciplinary action as needed.

Scope
The Japan-America Society of the State of Washington (JAS), established in 1923, is a not-for-profit,
non-partisan, 501(c)3, private membership-based organization with an office located in downtown Seattle. The Society is dedicated to building communication, understanding and long-lasting relationships between the peoples of Japan and Washington State. JAS fosters Japan-Washington State trade, business, and cultural activities through programs featuring high level government dignitaries from the U.S. and Japan; prominent U.S. and Japanese business leaders; sponsoring various business and trade seminars; and the Japan in the Schools (JIS) educational program for students in the region. The membership of JAS consists of approximately 110 private and public corporation and other entities along with approximately 125 individual members. JAS is governed by a board of up to 47 elected and additional designated directors representing leaders from the private and public sectors. The Executive Director is accountable to the board of directors and serves as the general manager of the Society. There are two other Society staff along with unpaid interns and volunteers. All staff provides member support including programs, membership, educational and operational duties.
