Celebrate the beauty of autumn in Japan through Tsukimi (Japanese Moon Viewing)!

In Japan, Tsukimi is a traditional celebration of the autumn moon, dating back centuries. During this seasonal tradition, people enjoy the beauty of the full moon, offer tsukimi dango (rice flour dumplings), and give thanks for the autumn harvest.

At this hands-on cultural experience, you’ll learn about the history and traditions of Tsukimi, make your own simple tsukimi dango, and enjoy a beginner-friendly matcha-making experience. You’ll have the opportunity to whisk your own bowl of matcha and enjoy it alongside your handmade dango.

No previous experience is necessary—just come ready to learn, make, and enjoy a taste of Japanese autumn!
